Both on the cover and inside the cover, there are many of the issues
affecting families of disabled children – diagnosis and disclosure,
policy, key worker, inclusion, attitudes etc. This book goes on to explore
some of the main issues in more depth. However, in a departure from
the norm of the Family Information Group, not only are the issues raised
but at the end of each issue there are ‘thoughts to consider’ highlighted
by the Group. To go beyond words, it is therefore not only necessary
to raise the issue, but to actually start beginning to address the issue
for anyone who reads this, the difference between words and action becomes
